In this episode, our intrepid Azure explorers talk all about storage – the different types, what each is best for (backups, archiving, general storage etc.), migrations, and of course, how reliable and secure cloud storage is. Spoiler alert: Very!
This is all in answer to a question sent in by Charlene from East London, who asked them to clarify the many storage options offered by Azure.
Othelo’s Geeky Fact of the Week (delivered between 6:18 and 6:28) is almost unbelievable in the age of the multi-exabyte cloud, desktop PCs that can accommodate hundreds of gigabytes of RAM and terabytes of their own internal storage, and processors that are more powerful than the supercomputers of yesteryear – who would have thought, indeed?
