Welcome to our second season! Thanks to your support, we’re back and better than ever! We hope you’ll enjoy the new season as much as we enjoy making it!

Right, on to business. For this first episode, Othelo and Matt kick it off by announcing the winner of the Comic Con tickets. If you were in the running and want to skip right to it, the process of announcing the winner’s name starts at the 0:59 mark.

Then they delve quite deeply into some Azure stuff, highlighting some of the cool things Azure can do. They talk about service fabric meshes, gateways, IoT devices, VNET to VNET peering, IPsec tunnels, something called “The Beast”, and more. Good stuff!

They end off with the Geeky Fact of the Week, which reveals when hardware-assisted virtualisation – a technology a lot of people assume is a fairly recent invention – really first emerged. The answer might surprise you!

And that’s it for the first episode of this second season of The Azure Files. If you have an Azure-related question you’d like the guys to answer, please send it on to the show’s official email address.

Thanks for watching! See you in a week!
