Last month, we looked at some of the changes coming in Windows 10 in the Fall Creators Update, which included reference to Microsoft’s Metro-replacing design language, Fluent Design.
Ahead of the update’s rollout tomorrow (October 17th), Microsoft has released another video showing more of Fluent Design in motion:
This is the first part of Microsoft’s Fluent Design philosophy, with more to come in subsequent updates.
For the time being, this release of Fluent Design will feature subtle changes to the design of Windows 10 and its app ecosystem, focusing on elements like light, depth, motion, material, and scale, with animations that make Windows seem like it’s moving more during the user’s interaction with it.
The Fall Creators Update for Windows 10 drops tomorrow; expect it to roll out to your Windows 10 PCs via Windows Update in the coming days.
