Tarsus Distribution was voted the Enterprise Distributor of the Year by Channelwise readers, and given an award at Friday’s Channelwise awards event.
TD took the crown from last year’s winner, Axiz, by a 2% margin. According to Channelwise, “In a closely-fought battle, Tarsus squeezed past runner-up Axiz at the finishing post, to win the award with 23% of the vote against 21%.”
And that wasn’t all: TD also placed in the top spot in the Printers, Peripherals, and Accessories category, winning with 27% of the votes – 13% clear of second-placed Axiz.
TD came in a close second in another three other categories as well, namely:
- End User Computing
- Servers, Storage, and Networking
- Software
Each time, Axiz pipped TD to the win by a 1-2% margin, so it was a close contest.
Overall, however, Tarsus Distribution cleaned up by winning the most prestigious award of the night, the Enterprise Distributor of the Year award. TD’s Robin Lloyd collected the trophy; it is now on proud display on Miles Crisp’s desk, placed prominently among all the other awards TD has won.
Tarsus on Demand also won something on the night, having been voted Channelwise voters’ “Favourite Cloud Service Provider”.
