This week’s Question of the Week is asked by Alice in Sandton, and it focuses on migrating to the cloud.
She wrote in to tell the guys she’s succeeded in convincing her company that cloud is the way to go (because it totally is), and asks what her company’s first steps towards actually doing the migration are.
Othelo and Matt then get into an animated discussion around cloud migration tools that not only do the actual migration, but which examine your existing infrastructure and create reports on what sort of cloud resources you’ll need to spin up in order to do in the cloud what your on-prem equipment currently does.
