Tarsus on Demand, the Tarsus Technology Group’s cloud division, has achieved Gold Partner status on everything to do with Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform.
The certification gives them the authority to plug the Azure skills gap in the South African market with their own internal knowledge and expertise, which is passed on to all of their partners.
They earned their Gold Partner Certification by training their core Azure team to meet Microsoft’s stringent requirements, submitting customer references and meeting tough performance commitments.
Kathryn Tindale, sales director of ToD, says “We are excited by the opportunity to help Microsoft extend its reach into the South African channel with its cloud-based solutions. The imminent launch of a local Azure datacentre represents a significant opportunity for our resellers, yet many of them do not yet have the in-house skills to service demand.
“Though Azure brings many benefits for customers—scalability, agility, flexible pricing models, security—implementation and integration can be complex and still require specialist skills. Azure skills are in short supply in South Africa, so we aim to plug the gap for our channel by providing them with sales and technical support they need as they help customers migrate to the cloud.”
